Celebrations were in order this week as Partners Finance & Lease marked the first anniversary of its North Island office.

The Christchurch-founded firm welcomed Matt Mooney, senior business manager, and Andrew Borland, credit manager, to head-up the North Island division last year.
This week the company celebrated its first-year milestone of having a presence in the North Island.
CEO Francis Fitzgerald said: “It has been great to have Matt and Andrew on board. Since establishing our Auckland office they have made a positive impact, growing our introducer network and increasing the presence of PFL in the NZ equipment finance market. I am pleased to report that we are on track for a record year despite the effects of Covid-19 and continue to work closely with businesses nationwide. Thanks to the team for their ongoing efforts.”
Senior Business Manager, Matt Mooney said: “Having established the Auckland branch in mid-2019 it is hard to believe we have been operating for twelve months. The arrival of Covid-19, lockdown and now in the post lockdown recovery phase, means we have seen a fair bit of disruption to normal business activity in a short space of time. Regardless, it is pleasing to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing outstanding service and delivering great outcomes for our customers.
“The Auckland branch remains focused on managing the PFL Introducer network and building relationships with the individual brokers who operate within that network. This strategy has given PFL access to more than 70 commercial plant and equipment specialists operating across the country who can provide a high level of customer service and support which aligns with our own values. The transition from a previous corporate environment to a locally owned and operated business has been a rewarding process and both Andrew Borland and I have enjoyed the opportunity to shape the PFL business for future growth.”
